The chief executive of St. Leger Homes has shown her support for Doncaster’s credit union by becoming its latest member alongside the Bishop of Doncaster and St. Leger’s director of housing.
Susan Jordan, Bishop Peter Burrows and housing services director Judith Jones have all shown their support for their local credit union by signing up for accounts with credit union chief executive Ian Guest.
Susan Jordan said: “I’m pleased to become one of South Yorkshire Credit Union’s newest members. I know how valuable the credit union is for many of our tenants and I’m proud to show my support to our tenants and the credit union by becoming an account holder.”
Bishop Burrows said: “Credit Unions are an excellent way of saving to benefit others in your community.
“When you invest in your local credit union you know it’s your neighbours or colleagues who are benefiting.
“I am proud to be part of the credit union and know that by joining I am helping people in Doncaster.”
Credit Unions offer an alternative to bank and building society accounts.
