NEW jobs will be created at a baby products’ flagship store to open soon at Parkgate, Rotherham.
Kiddicare has said up 700 vacancies will be created at 10 new UK stores, the first of which will open this summer.
Kiddicare.com was acquired by Morrisons last year, and will take over the leases of 10 former Best Buy stores from Carphone Warehouse.
The company says it will invest about £15 million on conversion of the stores.
Award-winning retailer Kiddicare has a multi-channel model and offers purchasing by app, kiosks and online, with next day delivery that is free of charge within an hourly time slot.
Electronics retailer Best Buy, closed their 45,000 sq ft store at Parkgate at the start of the year after it made the decision to close all 11 UK stores. It opened inJune last year.
