A DONCASTER entrepreneur has been arrested and hauled in jail... for a charity fundraiser.

For Rob Wilmot was stripped of his freedom in a mock trial at Nottingham’s Galleries of Justice in aid of charity Framework’s Jail and Bail event.

Mr Wilmot, chairman of Doncaster College and co-founder of Freeserve, joined more than a dozen volunteer prisoners at the event, including former England cricketer Chris Read.

More than £5,000 was raised for Framework - a Doncaster charity which offers help to drug and alcohol users.
