Individuals who take part are judged via a live treatment test and interview, to ‘ensure standards are kept rigorously high’.

Jody, of Owston Ferry, added: “I’m still stunned. I’m actually a facial specialist but because my body treatments were judged very highly I was thought to be a body therapist by the judges at one stage in the competition.”

She continued: “The judges liked the fact that I am extremely client-orientated and listen to people very carefully so that I can adapt every single treatment to the needs of the client.”

Jody has also undertaken specialist brand training, and chose her salon site carefully to give clients both privacy and dedicated care during their visits.
