Schools in the Isle teamed up to take part in a religious pilgrimage.

Year five pupils from Belton All Saints, Epworth Primary Academy, St Martin’s CofE Primary, Owston Ferry, West Butterwick CofE Primary, Westwoodside CofE Primary and Wroot Travis Charity Primary School explored different religious topics including The Wesleys and Methodism, The Pilgrim Fathers and The Knights Templar in Belton.

After several months the project culminated with a pilgrimage celebration service at South Axholme Academy.

The pilgrimage was the idea of retired headteacher Bob Fish, who now works for the Diocese of Lincoln.
