Whether it’s pedal power, having a rocking time of it,or building for the future these tots are certainly having a great time at The Hilltoppers Neighbourhood Nursery.

The privately run former Surestart nursery is based at The Hill Primary School, Tudor Street, Thurnscoe, and is open 7.30am-6pm for children aged three months to five years.

Senior practitioner, Kirsten Rich, told the Times: “We have loads of different sessions throughout the week which follow the National Curriculum at the earlier foundation stage and are quite educational as well as fun. We liaise very closely with the Hill Top School.

The sessions cover personal and social development literacy, problem solving language skills and physical development”.

“During term time youngsters have the award winning meals from the school which won a Gold award in the Healthy Schools initiative. In the holidays they are provided with a healthy hot dinner”.
