Praise for Montagu Hospital workers

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Montagu Hospital, has been praised after four in five of all its staff had a flu jab this winter.

A total of 80.9 per cent of frontline health workers at Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals had been vaccinated against flu by the end of December – the second highest rate of any hospital in the country.

Debbie O’Toole, head of occupational health and wellbeing, said: “Our staff have been fantastic and we’ve had an excellent take-up of flu vaccination by frontline health workers.”
