Three Doncaster health workers have been shortlisted in a prestigious awards event.
Pam Ley, an area clinical manager; Mel Gibbons, a district nurse clinical team leader, and Andrea Ibbeson, the safeguarding health liaison nurse, who all work for Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, have all been shortlisted in the regional NHS Leadership Recognition Awards.
Pam and Andrea have both been shortlisted in the NHS Partnership/System Leaders of the Year category while Mel is down to the last four in the NHS Leadership Development Champion category.
Pam was shortlisted for the work she carried out helping services from the NHS and the council work more effectively together; Andrea for working with social care and police in safeguarding children and young people in the borough and Mel was chosen for the work she carried out with district nurses on capacity and demand and rolling out a new process with patients.
All three will head to the awards event at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on November 13.
Christina Harrison, assistant director for RDaSH, said: “It’s excellent that three staff have made the finals of this prestigious awards ceremony. I wish them all the best.”
