A charity has organised an afternoon tea at Doncaster Mansion House to help raise funds for young people and adults with autism and learning disabilities.
Guests at the Autism Plus tea on Friday, June 20 from 12pm – 2pm can pay £25 per person for finger sandwiches with traditional fillings, a selection of tea cakes and pastries as well as warm baked scones with jam and clotted cream, with a glass of champagne for an extra £5.
All of the money raised from the event will go towards supporting the charity’s Activity Choices service where a range of activities are provided including skills development and employment, health and fitness, creative activities such as music and woodwork, information technology, animation and film making and photography.
Fundraiser Mel Russell said: “Mansion House is the perfect setting for this glamorous event and it’s a great way to spend the afternoon with family and friends. All of the money raised from the event will enable the charity to continuing supporting disabled individuals in the region.”
