Advice line help for Isle GPs

Isle of Axholme GPs who want advice on obstetrics and gynaecology cases can now call an advice line at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

The new line becomes active on April 1, and will allow doctors to speak to a consultant about anything from medication or managing conditions, to whether patients need referring to hospital.

The advice line will be open from 5.30pm-7pm Monday to Friday on a trial basis.
