Isle authors have a great opportunity to hone their chilling ghost writing skills in new creative writing workshops that are launched today.
The workshops on a spooky theme involve local poet Elaine Akester, and will take place at North Lincolnshire Museum this evening from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Elaine will present her theories on imagination and hauntology tonight, and will focus on the themes of Uncanny and Time Out of Join on August 8.
Participants can wander through the museum galleries at night to gain inspiration for new work.
A North Lincolnshire Council spokeswoman, said:“Now that the Museum is open until 8pm on the second Thursday of every month we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do something different. If these workshops are a success we will hopefully be able to run more throughout the year.
The workshops are ideal for anyone wanting to have their first dabble at creative writing or poetry. If you would like to take part book your place ahead as spaces are limited. It costs £3 per person and refreshments are included.
