Give blood at college and save lives

DEARNE Valley College is helping to boost blood stock levels in the region by inviting the National Blood Service onto its premises.

The National Blood Service Bloodmobile will be at the Manvers Campus on Tuesday, January 17, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm for people to donate blood.

College sports centre manager, Adam Stancey, said: “It is vitally important that people come along to Dearne Valley College to donate blood to help the National Blood Service save lives.

“The service is dependent on maintaining its required level of donors so it can run as usual.

“We are urging as many people as possible to do their bit and book an appointment today.”

The sessions are by appointment only and to book call 0300 123 23 23 or visit www.blood.co.uk
