Free Press readers wanting to enjoy a bit of sparkle this summer can enjoy a free glass of Prosecco when ordering afternoon tea in July.

Doncaster racecourse has teamed up with your favourite weekly read for this fantastic offer of a free glass of Prosecco worth £4.95 when purchasing afternoon tea at £12.95 per person between noon and 4pm, from The Old Weighing Room restaurant in the grounds of the racecourse. Offer available on consecutive Saturdays, July 11, 18 and 25, for those aged 18 and over.

The new Afternoon Tea menu features a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, warm fruit scones served with homemade jams and Cornish clotted cream, a selection of miniature cakes and an array of the finest Yorkshire teas courtesy of Taylor’s of Harrogate. To take advantage of the offer, tables must be pre-booked on 01302 304265 and then the voucher in the July 9 edition of the Doncaster Free Press (one per person dining) must be presented upon arrival. The offer is subject to availability and can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer. Kieran Gallagher, executive director at Doncaster Racecourse, said: “The Old Weighing Room has become one of Doncaster’s most popular restaurants. A big part of its success is listening to customers.”
