A GREAT-grandmum geared up to celebrate her 100th birthday with a taste of Hollywood as she stepped into a pink stretch limousine.

Florence Pinder, who has two children, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, decided it was the perfect chance to take a trip around Doncaster in the luxury vehicle, completing with pink bunny ears!

Florence, originally from Balby Bridge before she moved to Sprotbrough and Intake, also had a family party at Stainforth’s Oldfield House residential Home where she is a resident.

Son Edward Bell said his mum, a former cleaner, was really excited about seeing some of Doncaster’s main attractions such as the minster and the Frenchgate Centre.

He said: “She loved it and I think she fancies another go. She doesn’t get out much, so she hadn’t been around Doncaster for eight or nine years, so she couldn’t believe how much the place had changed.”
