Fires round-up: Four cars destroyed by early hours blaze

Four cars were destroyed and one heat damaged when a fire broke out at an industrial site in Doncaster this morning. Firefighters were called out to Churchill Road, Wheatley, at 12.30am and arrived to find the vehicles well alight at a commercial garage. A fire service spokesman said the four cars were well alight when they arrived, and were completed burned out by the flames. Two fire engines from Doncaster Fire Station dealt with the call, and left the scene at 2am. The cause is believed to have been accidental.

Arsonists set a mobile building alight on derelict land at Hurst Lane, Auckley, last night. Two fire engines from Doncaster Fire Station and one from Edlington were called out to the scene at 7.20pm, and spend nearly an hour on the site. The building was well alight when the arrived and was completely destroyed by the blaze.
