Two ex-Dearne firefighters have splashed out on entirely new career paths from a new work base at Century Business Centre, Manvers.
Chris Clegg of Hoyland, and Nick Frewin spent 26 and 30 years respectively, protecting people and property in South Yorkshire, but they are now honing in on the action from a different angle.
The pair have developed a joint photography business, Red Ember Digital, and hope to expand and create further work opportunities in the future.
Nick, 50, who is married with three children and from Rotherham, said: “We are both passionate about photography and are willing to cover any type of event along with studio work which we really enjoy.”
