Firefighters attend South Yorkshire charity's headquarters after 'strong smell of smoke'

Firefighters were called out to a South Yorkshire charity's headquarters after reports of a strong smell of smoke.

Three crews attended the Rotherham Rise building on Main Street in the town at 5pm yesterday.

A fire service spokeswoman said attended due to an odour of smoke emanating from the cellar but there were no signs of fire and crews left the scene 30 minutes later.
