Festive fayre for all in Epworth

TIS the season to be merry - and Epworth’s first Christmas food fair is guaranteed to get your taste buds in the mood.

The festive fair will feature 26 stalls brimming with mouth-watering food, from home-baked pies to rare breed meats and handmade chocolates.

It’ll be a chance to pick up quality, locally-produced products from traders who will be on hand for cooking tips and advice.

As well as food stalls, there will also be traders selling an array of potential Christmas gifts including wreaths, herbs and plants as well as entertainment from Punch and Judy.

She, said: “This looks set to be the biggest of the four food fairs that have been held in Epworth this year.

“We’re hoping to attract people who have never been to Epworth before. Newcomers always say that it is a fantastic town to visit and it’s going to be great to see it fully entered into the festive spirit.”

The fair will run from 9am to 3pm on Saturday in the Market Place. There is free parking at the Church Street and Chapel Street car parks, as well as overflow car parking at Epworth Leisure Centre.
