A Doncaster housing organisation is backing the ‘Love Where You Live’ campaign.
St Leger Homes of Doncaster is urging tenants and residents to help keep their community tidy as part of the national campaign.
The campaign is aiming to inspire individuals, businesses, groups and organisations to think about their communities and take personal responsibility for the environment around them.
Doncaster is one of 10 authorities backing the campaign and the aim is to get 14,000 people and 150 organisations from across the borough involved over the next 3 years.
St Leger Homes of Doncaster is also throwing its support behind the campaign.
Susan Jordan, Chief Executive of St Leger Homes, said: “St Leger Homes strives to create quality homes in quality neighbourhoods and backs this campaign. I know a lot of our tenants take pride in their communities and many put in a lot of community work through their tenants’ and residents’ associations.
“I would ask all tenants to love where they live and ensure no litter is dropped, and to keep their estates looking tidy and clean.”
