Two Doncaster students are celebrating after have scooping awards from the South Yorkshire branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Cheryl O’Donnell and Sarah Fox, who are studying on the Msc in human resource management course at the University Centre Doncaster, were named students of the year.
The proud pair were presented with certificates by David Hayden, vice-chair of South Yorkshire CIPD in front of their lecturers and fellow students at a special presentation ceremony.
Cheryl, 32 from Balby, Doncaster, and Sarah, 28 from Sheffield, were given the awards for their academic achievement and contribution to the course.
The pair also impressed with their considerable help to other colleagues who are studying on the same course. Maureen Sydney, head of higher education at the University Centre Doncaster and John McDonald, assistant director of the school of business and management were also in attendance to see the pair pick up their prestigious award.
