WILLOW the donkey, sheep and chickens joined pupils from Upperwood Primary School for a special Nativity at Chatsworth.

Pupils made the trip to Derbyshire, as a new Christmas adventure that is now likely to be repeated.

The excited youngsters spent an enjoyable morning making seasonal hats and cards, then went out to explore the farmyard prior to the Nativity.

Staff members Lisa Tabbner and Penny Hayhurst arranged the outing. A school spokeswoman said: “All the children and staff enjoyed a super trip at Christmas time”.
