Leaders at Pheasant Bank Academy in Rossington, Doncaster, are taking ‘effective action’ to make improvements called for by Ofsted, inspectors have said in a letter to the school.

The school was told it required improvement after its full inspection in September. The letter says headteacher Andrea Nuttall, pictured with staff, pupils and writer Gervaise Phinn at the school library opening, had made a positive impact on the academy.
