Big-hearted school pupils gathered food packages to send to a shelter which helps young homeless people.

Youngsters at St Alban’s Catholic Primary School in Denaby Main, pictured above with the hamper, gathered the goods as part of their harvest festival celebrations.

The hamper was donated to the Doncaster Foyer organisation, a Salvation Army-run shelter which provides support to people aged 16 to 24 who find themselves living on the streets.
