Smokers in Barnsley East are being urged to stop lighting up as part of a hard-hitting quit smoking campaign by Public Health England.

It is estimated that more than 23 percent of adults still smoke in Barnsley and the Barnsley Health and Wellbeing Board are supporting the latest campaign to help people kick the habit.

The ‘Health Harms’ campaign features images of rotten flesh in roll-up cigarettes, to demonstrate the damage cigarettes do to your whole body such as, long term damage to delicate organs in the body, such as the heart, teeth, lungs, and brain.
