FEATHERS, glitter and sequins covered the faces of Rawmarsh Ashwood Primary School pupils for their winter masquerade.

Along with the glitz and glamour was creative genius, such as the robot reindeer from a Y4 pupil, and all manner of Christmassy masks that were described as “absolutely beautiful” by school business manager Margaret Evans.

Every child in the school wore a mask, added Mrs Evans, and the fun fundraiser made a final £452 for school funds. Stalls, games and sold cakes all helped to top up the coffers.
