A pair of twin sisters from Sheffield are preparing to set off to the same university together after achieving amazing A-level results.
Beth and Amy Kynman, from High Green, are off to Warwick University after managing superb results at Thomas Rotherham College.
Beth achieved four A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and will study a degree in Mathematics and Physics.
Her sister Amy will be studying Chemistry, having got one A* and three As in her results.
Beth said the pair were delighted with their results.
“I was a little bit surprised and really pleased,” she said.
She said she is not sure what she will do after her degree, but may pursue an academic career.
Their grades were among many excellent results at Thomas Rotherham College.
Principal Dr Richard Williams said he was delighted with their results, as their overall A-level pass rate rose to 98 per cent and 86 students achieved at least three As in different subjects.
Students Andrew Deniszczyc and Daniel Langston both achieved three A* and an A.
Daniel will study Maths at Imperial College London and Andrew Computer Science at Pembroke College, Cambridge.
Also Cambridge-bound, to study History at Trinity Hall, is Freya Tonnesen who achieved one A* and two As.
