The bunting will be flying and tea and coffee flowing in Brampton next week at a Jubilee celebration with a difference….

The Ann Rhodes Community Centre will be the venue for a tea party hosted by the Dearne Valley Eco Vision next Wednesday (June 6), where local residents can combine a cuppa and a chat with the opportunity to learn more about how to save energy and money on their fuel bills.

The so-called Eco Demonstrator flat above the community centre on Bierlow Close, Brampton will be open between 10am and 12 noon for visitors to meet with an energy efficiency advisor and take a look at the latest technology while enjoying the party atmosphere. The flat is equipped with the latest technology and energy efficiency adaptations to enable people to see how the measures could work in their own home.
