Local train operator Northern Rail is launching its first online “Ask Alex” session on Monday 28 October.
The 60 minute slot will see new Managing Director, Alex Hynes logging on to answer as many questions as possible from Northern’s 26,000 plus Twitter following @northernrailorg.
“We want to open another communications channel with our customers, hopefully while they’re actually travelling on our services,” explains Alex.
“Our Twitter following has exploded in the last year and I’m keen to hear from customers who are always on the go and might not have the time to physically stop and speak to us.”
Ask Alex will support regular ‘Meet the Manager’ sessions around the Northern network, which offer the opportunity to speak with frontline teams face-to-face.
“Twitter is such a great way to communicate with our customers” adds Alex, “and I want to reaffirm our commitment to providing them with more ways than ever to share their thoughts and ideas with us.”
