Doncaster set to host fostering event
PEOPLE keen to find out more about fostering are invited to attend an information evening in Doncaster.
Team Fostering, which provides care for youngsters across Yorkshire, hopes to recruit foster carers in the Doncaster area and is inviting anyone curious to find out more about fostering to come along to the event at Doncaster Quaker Meeting House, Oxford Place, Doncaster, next Tuesday.
The evening will include a presentation outlining the challenges and opportunities of fostering and then experts from Team Fostering will be joined by social workers and existing foster carers to answer questions and share their experiences.
Director of Team Fostering Rosy Holden, said: “Events like this provide a great way of finding out what fostering really entails and whether or not it might be for you – so we would encourage anyone who is considering it to come along.”
