The longest-serving volunteer at a Doncaster charity has retired.

Geoff Hill began working for DIAL in 1995.

The charity, which has been running in the borough for 30 years, offers an information and advice service on a range of disability issues.

Mr Hill worked as an administration volunteer before switching to a role supporting DIAL’s shops.

Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton, who is the organisation’s president, presented Mr Hill with a Certificate of Appreciation.

She said: “DIAL has provided an excellent service for people in Doncaster over the years and Geoff Hill has been a vital part of that.”
