RAWMARSH

BIRD-BOX bulding activity takes place on February 25, 1-3pm at Rosehill Park. Open to all, cost £2.50 per bird box, but all children must be accompanied.

BUMPS and Babes’ Group meets Tuesdays, 1.30-3pm at Rawmarsh Children’s Centre, for parents-to-be and parents with children up to a year old.

A BUSY Bees activity gym takes place on Fridays at Rosehill Community Hall, Kilnhurst Road, 1.30-3pm. Children aged six months to four years. Cost £1 per family.

MANOR Farm TARA holds a coffee morning, 10am-noon, each Saturday at its Central Drive hub.

CONISBROUGH

CONISBROUGH and Denaby Main Heritage Group host a talk by Bob Ashton titled “100 Years of Doncaster Transport” at The Ivanhoe Centre, tonight (Thursday), at 7.15pm. Admission £1.50 members, £2 visitors.

AN energy-saving advice drop-in session is to be held at The Place centre today (Thursday), between 10am and 12.30pm. The session will be hosted by St Leger Homes, together with members of The Oval TARA. It will include tips on reducing gas and electricity bills.

A CHARITY mediumship night takes place at Comwells pub on Church Street on March 3 at 7pm.

SWINTON

A FAIR Trade coffee morning will be held at St John’s Methodist Church on Saturday, March 5, 10am-noon. There will be a coffee morning on the following Saturday, March 12, 10am-noon in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

A meeting in church on Monday, February 28, at 7pm will discuss the annual parish garden party in June. The next Mothers’ Union meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 2, in church, at 10.30am following the Eucharist Service at 10am. A clothes sale will be held in the church hall on Saturday, March 5, at 10am in aid of the Church Hall fund.

THE Ladies Group prayer meeting will be held at Bethany Evangelical Church on Tuesday at 9.45am. The Toddlers’ Group will meet at the church on Wednesday at 9.45am. A coffee morning will be held in church on Thursday, March 3, from 10.30am.
