Delighted children say thanks a Million for Liz’s special visit

SCHOOLCHILDREN were treated to a surprise visit from a top author and illustrator.

Liz Million dropped in at The Point to talk to youngsters about her work as a children’s author and even took time out of her busy schedule to show them how she draws her characters.

The event, held at the South Parade venue and co-funded by the Coalfield Regeneration Trust, was part of the Doncaster Book Award which celebrates the work of children’s authors and gets young people to read and write reviews on their favourite books.
