A SUMMER fair will be held at Bolton Hall Nursing Home on July 16 and anyone wishing to have a stall at the event should contact Donna on 01709 881456.

AFTER School Clubs at Highgate School during term times are: Monday: Cheerleading; Tuesday: Strictly Come Dancing, Art, IT, Baking, Football, Construction and Board Games; Wednesday: Street Dance; Thursday: Sewing, Choir, Football, Baking, Sports Active and Fashion Design.

WOMBWELL

A STREET party organised by We Love Wombwell will take place on April 29 on Wombwell High Street, 1-3.30pm, with fun fair, side shows etc. The first 300 under-11s will for £1 get a Royal Wedding mug, ice cream, pop, crisps, a flag and a balloon.

NETMUMS meet next on May 5 at Wombwell Library, 10-11am, for stories and crafts.

WOMBWELL folk can now use a kerbside plastic bottles recycling service run by the council. The service accepts plastic bottles used to contain: milk, pop, water, bleach, detergent, shampoo, fabric conditioner, sun tan lotion.

DARFIELD

DARFIELD Wesley Wives’ Group will meet on Monday at 7pm.

BROWNIES and Guides meet at Darfield Wesley Church on Tuesdays during term times.

VALLEY Methodist Church is open for tea and chat from 8.45am on Wednesday. Morning prayers follow at 9.30am.
