BOLTON

ST ANDREW’S Parish Church will be holding an open weekend on June 4 and 5.

There will be entertainment for children, stalls and old photographs. Visitors will be able to discover the history of the church and the surrounding area. Refreshments will be available. Saturday’s events take place from 11am-3pm and Sunday’s activities take place between noon and 4pm.

EVERYONE is welcome to attend a Pub Evening at Bolton Hall Nursing Home from 4pm tomorrow (Friday) when there will be a singer, games, a quiz, bingo and a meat raffle. A Big Lunch will be held for residents, family and friends at 12.30pm on June 5, tickets £1.50. A sports day with games, a raffle, bingo and tombola will be held from 10.30am on July 6, proceeds for Dementia Awareness.

DARFIELD

AN ALMOST new sale will be held at Darfield Wesley Church on Saturday at 9.15am. A coffee morning will follow at at 10am.

DARFIELD Wesley Wives Group will hold a members’ evening on Monday at 7pm.

BROWNIES and Guides meet at Darfield Wesley Church on Tuesdays during term times.

A TALK about the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was given at Darfield Wesley Companions Group last Wednesday.

CUDWORTH

MEMBERS of Grimethorpe Pentecostal Church are attending a barbecue at Kettlethorpe High School on Wednesday.

DRESS for Less, a charity shop run jointly by Community Partnership and Grimethorpe Pentecostal Church is open Monday to Friday from 10am-3pm.

A COFFEE morning will be held at Cudworth St John The Baptist Church Parish Rooms on Wednesday from 9.30am, proceeds for church funds.

CUDWORTH Methodist Male Voice Choir rehearse in Wesley Hall on alternate Fridays and Sundays at 7.15pm. The Ladies Choir rehearse on Tuesdays at 7.15pm. New members are always welcome to join.
