BOLTON

A BIG LUNCH for residents, family and friends, will be held at Bolton Hall Nursing Home at 12.30pm on Sunday, tickets £1.50. A sports day with games, a raffle, bingo and tombola will be held from 10.30am on July 6, proceeds for Dementia Awareness.

A summer fair will be held on July 16 and anyone wishing to have a stall at the event should contact Donna on 01709 881456.

AFTER-School Clubs at Highgate School during term times are: Monday: Cheerleading; Tuesday: Strictly Come Dancing, Art, IT, Baking, Football, Construction and Board Games; Wednesday: Street Dance; Thursday: Sewing, Choir, Football, Baking, Sports Active and Fashion Design.

WOMBWELL

FREE security marking of kids’ bikes is being offered by Wombwell SNT. Police retain details of the bike on their database, and will mark them at the station or will visit addresses if a request is made. There was a huge response to the scheme last year, after it proved successful in returning stolen bikes to their owners.

WOMBWELL Tara’s summer trip will take place on July 17, to Skegness. Tickets are £8.50 with one child free with each paying adult. Tickets available from officials or at meetings - the next will be June 16 from 7pm at Windmill Road Community Centre.

CITIZENS’ Advice sessions are held each Thursday on a drop-in basis from 9.30am to noon at Wombwell Library. A readers’ group operates the third Friday of each month from 1pm to 2pm, open to all.

CUDWORTH

A LUNCH Club will meet at Grimethorpe Pentecostal Church on Monday from 12.30pm. The Toddler Club will meet on Tuesday at 10am.

DRESS for Less, a charity shop run jointly by Community Partnership and Grimethorpe Pentecostal Church is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm.

A COFFEE morning will be held at St John The Baptist Church Parish Rooms on Wednesday from 9.30am, proceeds for church funds.
