DARFIELD

AN ALMOST new sale will be held at Darfield Wesley Church at 9.15am on Saturday. A coffee morning will follow at 10am.

DARFIELD Wesley Women’s Fellowship will meet at 2.30pm on Monday when the speaker will be Mr W Marsden.

BROWNIES and Guides meet at Darfield Wesley Church on Tuesdays during term times.

MRS HURP will be the speaker at Darfield Wesley Companions Group’s meeting on Wednesday at 2.30pm.

BOLTON

A SPECIAL event to mark National Dignity Day will be held at Dearne Valley Care Centre tomorrow (Friday). Everyone is welcome and the event will include fancy dress and an entertainer.

MRS DOROTHY Pearson, a resident at Dearne Valley Care Centre, will celebrate her 78th birthday on Sunday.

HIGHGATE School football team are to represent South Yorkshire in the National Finals of the Schools Football Association Cup. The finals will be held at Leeds Football Academy on March 12. To earn their place Highgate had to win the Dearne Finals and then the regional finals which were held recently at Barnsley FC.

CUDWORTH

SEQUENCE Dancing is held at Wesley Hall on Thursdays from 1.30-4pm. Line dancing follows from 4-6pm.

CUDWORTH Majorettes meet in Wesley Hall every Wednesday from 4.30pm.

THE Crafty Fingers Craft Group meets weekly at Rose Tree Court, Cudworth. New members are welcome.
