BOLTON

A SUMMER fair will be held at Bolton Hall Nursing Home on July 16 and anyone wishing to have a stall at the event should contact Donna on 01709 881456. An Easter Bonnet Party will be held on April 21.

AFTER School Clubs at Highgate School are: Monday: Cheerleading; Tuesday: Strictly Come Dancing, Art, IT, Baking, Football, Construction and Board Games; Wednesday: Street Dance; Thursday: Sewing, Choir, Football, Baking, Sports Active and Fashion Design. Easter activities, including a decorated egg competition and egg rolling, have been taking place throughout the school this week. School breaks tomorrow (Friday) and children return on Tuesday April 26.

AFTER School clubs at Lacewood Primary School include: Sports Multi Skills on Mondays, Gymnastics on Tuesdays, Cheer Leading on Wednesdays, Lets Get Cooking and Ballroom Dancing on Thursdays. Sports and multi skills activities also take place Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Year 3 pupils have been working with Spearfish, designing bird boxes to place along the walkways at Dearne Valley Park.

DARFIELD

AN ALMOST new sale will be held at Darfield Wesley Church on Saturday at 9.15am. A coffee morning in aid of Home and World Missions will follow at 10am.

BARNSLEY Camera Club are presenting a slide show with music at Darfield Wesley Church on Saturday at 7pm, tickets £4.

DARFIELD Wesley Women’s Fellowship will meet on Monday at 2.30pm.

A MEMBERS’ afternoon will be held by Darfield Wesley Companions Group on Wednesday at 2.30pm.

GOLDTHORPE

A SPANISH taster class will be held at Dearne Enterprise Centre on Monday from 10am until noon. The class is free but anyone wishing to attend should contact the centre on 01709 881181. Other classes due to start shortly are cookery, maths and English. Ring for details.

LENT Lunches are being served at Goldthorpe Parish Hall Today (Thursday) from noon.

A COFFEE morning for Goldthorpe Parish Church funds will be held in the Parish Hall at 9.30am on Tuesday.

AN INSIDE Street Party will be held at Goldthorpe Parish Hall on April 29 to celebrate the Royal Wedding. The event will begin at 10am, there will be a big screen to watch the wedding on and a buffet lunch. Tickets: £6, £3 children.
