Doncaster car salesman Wes Needham took a 14,000ft leap to raise cash for Help for Heroes.

Wes, sales manager at Perry’s Vauxhall on Wheatley Hall Road, agreed to the dare-devil stunt after a few drinks The Oak in Tickhill, and went on to raise £3,000. He is pictured during his jump.

He said: “A slightly silly bet with a friend in the local pub turned into a fantastic and exhilarating way to raise money for such a worthy cause. I would personally like to thank everyone who sponsored and supported me.”

Wes took the plunge at Langar airfield, just south of Nottingham. And despite the initial breathtaking somersaults upon leaving the plane, the Sales Manager has got his sights sets on sky-diving again soon.
