VIDEO: Hundreds arrested in Doncaster police crackdown on burglary and car crime

Hundreds of arrests have been made in a police operation to crack down on thieves in Doncaster this month.

Officers have pulled in a total of 379 suspects under “Operation Accolade” since the start of October.

The operation is part of a drive to cut down on offences such as burglaries and car crime, and has resulted in the arrest of several people referred to as “prolific” offenders.

Officers have also recovered a pile of stolen items which they are now trying to re-home by tracing the original owners of the items.
