Hundreds of arrests have been made in a police operation to crack down on thieves in Doncaster this month.
Officers have pulled in a total of 379 suspects under “Operation Accolade” since the start of October.
The operation is part of a drive to cut down on offences such as burglaries and car crime, and has resulted in the arrest of several people referred to as “prolific” offenders.
Officers have also recovered a pile of stolen items which they are now trying to re-home by tracing the original owners of the items.
Anyone with information about crimes in their area should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
