Three men arrested over child sexual exploitation in Rotherham have been bailed.

The trio, aged 35, 38 and 39, were arrested in Goole, East Yorkshire, on Thursday over a number of allegations of historic sex offences against young girls between 1990 and 2001.

South Yorkshire Police have a number of investigations into child sex abuse underway following the publication of Professor Alexis Jay’s report into the issue, which suggested 1,400 children were abused by largely Pakistani-heritage men over a 16 year period.
