Thefts in Wroot

POLICE are urging people to be vigilant following a number of thefts from out buildings in the Wroot area.

The first incident happened on Field Lane when a caravan at the rear of a premises was entered and a flat screen television was stolen between 9pm on Friday, December 2, and 8am the following day.

During exactly the same time frame a lawnmower, strimmer, chainsaw and quad bike were stolen from an out building, also on Field Lane.

A large quantity of fishing equipment was stolen from a garage on Woodside Lane between 11pm on Friday, December 2, and 08.20am the following day.

The same street was targeted again when a shed was entered between midnight and 8am on Saturday, December 3. Nothing was thought to have been stolen.

And a quantity of tools was also stolen from an out building on Woodside Lane between 6pm on Friday December 2, and 9.45am the following day.

Police are working to establish if the incidents are connected and are asking people to be vigilant and keep their eyes open for suspicious activity.
