Suspended prison sentence for thefts in Doncaster

A serial meat thief has been handed a 16 week suspended prison sentence.

Philip Christopher Warr, 37, of College Road, town centre, stole £68 worth of meat from the Co-op in Rossington and more than £100 worth from the one in Woodlands.

Warr must also have nine months of treatment for his drug dependency.

He pleaded guilty to the crimes and must also pay copmpensation of £181.39.
