A young man who exposed himself to police in Sheffield has been shamed on a new TV show filmed in the city.

Viewers of last night’s Channel 4 programme 999: What’s Your Emergency? saw PCs Laura Ledger and Bernice Gott give the man a warning after he dropped his pants as their patrol car whizzed past him in a city street.

Stopping the car, Pc Ledger was seen telling the camera: “What the hell is he doing?

Speaking to the man, dressed in a white top and jogger bottoms, she said: “You don’t do something like that.

"You had your pants down, I saw everything.

"I’ve seen your private parts which I didn’t want to see.”
