A former Wath man has his audio and television equipment confiscated.

Ryan Kelly, aged 28, breached a noise abatement order when he lived on Doncaster Road, Wath-upon-Dearne.

He now lives in Bolton-upon-Dearne, after being evicted and has had his television, sound system, two games consoles and two DVD players confiscated after Rotherham Council was granted a forfeiture order at court.

Council cabinet member, Councillor Kath Sims, said: “The court order means that he has permanently lost the equipment that caused so much noise and in turn, so much grief for his neighbours.

“We hope this gives a warning to people that we will not put up with anti-social behaviour that impacts on local neighbourhoods.”
