A MASKED robber broke a terrified mum-of-four’s wrist after a violent early morning raid on her home.

Police said three men shouted threats and demanded money from the 30-year-old, while her children were inside the house.

During a struggle one of the raiders broke the woman’s wrist before the trio fled with her purse which contained a small amount of cash.

She was taken to hospital with her injuries. None of the children were harmed.

The men, all wearing dark clothing with their faces covered by scarves, broke into the property in Camden Grove, Maltby, around 12.30am on Sunday.

Det Sgt Nikki Shimwell described the break-in as “nasty” and “violent”.

She said: “We are currently establishing why the offenders may have targeted this property and are providing support to the victim, who required hospital treatment following this horrific ordeal.

“We are appealing for members of the public to contact the police immediately if they have information that may help us find these three men.”
