Labour leader visits Victim Support charity

LABOUR leader Ed Miliband paid a visit to a charity which helps victims of crime in the Dearne.

Victim Support, based in Mexborough Business Centre, gives free and confidential help to victims of crimes, including burglary, assaults, sex offences and domestic violence.

Mr Miliband, who is MP for Mexborough, said of the visit: “Victim Support help people in our community get through some very challenging and difficult situations. I’d like to pay tribute to their work.

“I want to make sure Victim Support is able to offer the best possible service in our area.”
