Doncaster man sustains serious facial injury in town centre assault

A 23-year-old man has been attacked by two unknown men as he walked along North Bridge Road, Doncaster.

Police have today released an appeal for more information on assault on a 23-year-old man who was assaulted as he walked home from a New Year’s Eve party.

At around 3am on Thursday, January 1, it is reported that the man was walking along North Bridge Road, Doncaster, in the direction of the town centre.

It is alleged that he was assaulted by one of two unknown men, sustaining a serious facial injury that required hospital treatment.

The men are described as being white, aged between 25 and 30-years-old, around 5ft 10ins tall and of average build.
