THE police helicopter crew has been called out to help deal with nuisance motorbikes.

The air team, known as SY99, was called to Stainforth on Sunday following reports of young children riding motorbikes.

The helicopter team found the three motorbikes carrying young children along the pit top at about 3pm and had to land so the crew could deal with the situation.

It is part of a series of motorcycle related nuisance calls dealt with by the helicopter teams across South Yorkshire over the weekend.
