THE following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences
ARMTHORPE: A prisoner who went on the run on while on day released for a home visit has been sent back to jail. Jamie Izzet was at large for several days after he failed to return to HMP Moorland on March 9. Izzet, 34, of Beech Road, received another 28 days on top of his current sentence. He admitted the offence.
EDLINGTON: A teenage thug has avoided jail for his role in a town centre fight. Kai Cuvin, 19, who had previous convictions for similar offences, instigated the violence on November 17. Cuvin, of Princes Crescent received eight weeks prison suspended for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to breaching the Criminal Justice Act. He also received 150 hours unpaid work and £85 costs.
BALBY: A MOTORIST has been fined £175 with £65 costs for driving without a valid licence. The case against Matthew Bowden that he drove a Rover in Carr House Road, Hyde Park, on November 4 was proved in his absence.
MEXBOROUGH: Magistrates have ordered a shoplifter to undergo 12 months treatment for drug addiction. Andrew Conner, 36, of Crossgate, admitted pinching a Playstation worth just under £230 from Tesco on February 23. He was also ordered to pay £100 costs.
WHEATLEY: Going for a drink turned into an expensive day for a woman. Jayne Cutts, 27, of Charles Street, was fined £35 with £100 costs after she pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in public following a disturbance on March 7.
