A WOMAN accused of murdering Casey Lyanne Kearney has been remanded in custody.

Hannah Bonser, 26, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with murder and two counts of possession a bladed article.

Relatives of McAuley Catholic High School pupil Casey, of Rossington, wept as Bonser appeared in the dock.

Wearing a blue T-shirt, Bonser, who appeared to have a tattoo on her left arm, and who had shoulder length mousy hair nodded when asked to confirm her name and date of birth.

Bonser, of Cusworth House in St James’ Street, Balby Bridge, only spoke to confirm her address.

Family and friends passed around tissues during the brief hearing at the end of which where Bonser was led away in handcuffs.

The case has been sent to Sheffield Crown Court next month.

The magistrates court is currently being manned by a heavy police presence.
